Arch Wright
Arch Wright’s path to becoming a widely respected and trusted clinician
and healer has been anything but typical. Arch is a former U.S. Ski Team member, finance executive and the father of two adult children. He is a University of Michigan Ross School of Business graduate and holds a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and multiple trauma certifications.

Arch is a Neuro Affective Relational Model (NARM) Master Therapist. His credentials are rooted in developmental trauma, attachment, interpersonal neurobiology, somatic healing and family systems theory. His Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling included a ten-month clinical internship at The Meadows’ Gentle Path program under Dr. Patrick Carnes and Pia Mellody. Arch subsequently completed Post-Induction Therapy (PIT) training at The Meadows involving developmental trauma assessment and treatment and became certified as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT). He is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Informed Psychodrama and a number of evidence-based Couples Therapy modalities.
Arch has extensive professional and personal experience with the process of not only overcoming addictions of all sorts, but also recognizing and healing from his own trauma and discovering what it takes to expand into deeper levels of emotional sobriety and relational health and wellness. As a trauma survivor himself, his nearly life-long journey with The 12 Steps and 12 Traditions adds a mind/body/soul overlapping holistic perspective to helping others heal and thrive.
Arch’s own evolving Recovery-Into-Being journey has given him insight into the significance of underlying biopsychospiritual trauma-response factors that manifest in a multitude of ways. These factors include minimally to severely problematic addiction, codependency, human relationship issues, mood, anxiety and personality disorders. Arch believes that unresolved developmental trauma underlies not only addiction but virtually all forms of stuck emotions and relationship struggles.
While Arch’s personal and professional knowledge base and skillset place him among today’s highly qualified trauma-informed practitioners, he feels it is the partnership with his wife Julie and their joint proficiency as relational trauma specialists that provides a uniquely solid foundation for the successful outcomes expected for those who come to One Elm.
